Install the Best Photoshop Alternative for Ubuntu 16.04 - GIMP

In this Commix and More video tutorial, we are going to install one of the best Adobe Photoshop alternatives for Ubuntu 16.04 called GIMP. GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. Most linux distributions has this installed. But recently, the developers have dropped the installation of this image editing program in their Linux distribution.

Thus, we can manually install GIMP on our Linux operating system using the steps below:

1. Run the Terminal.
2. Type: sudo apt-get install gimp
3. Type your password and then "Y" when prompted. After these steps are taken, they can now edit your images like you were editing it in Photoshop.

These steps were taken using an operating system called Eskwela OS. Links will be in the description below.

Note: This tutorial is also compatible with all other distributions which are based on Ubuntu like: Eskwela OS 4, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu MATE and Elementary OS.
