Ubuntu and its flavors, including Xubuntu, Ubuntu with xfce desktop manager, recently released its Long Term Support Release or LTS for short. Anyways, here are the things you should do: First, make sure you get the latest updates Ubuntu has on its repositories. To do this, just look for the Software Updater and update your software to its latest version. Second, choose the best server for your newly installed ubuntu system. Just head over to the Software & Updates App and choose the best server there. Third, manually update your system to test out the new server. Open the Terminal and type: sudo apt uodate.
